On Sunday October 16th of 1988 Ms Evalyn Lucien disappeared from the Coit Tower Area of San Francisco, CA. She has not been heard from since. This site is a loving tribute to her memory, as well as an attempt to retrace her final steps with us.

Over the past year I have assembled a collection of ephemera related to Ms Lucien. Through that research, I have pieced together what I believe to be the events leading up to her final moments with us. There are still some missing pieces to the puzzle and we need your help retracing her steps. You may, unknowingly, have crucial information that could shed further light on her disappearance. To join us in these efforts, please participate in The Reconstruction Project now.

Thanks to the many friends who have contributed to this growing archive. As we gain materials they will be hosted here, and for personal viewing at the Prelinger Library.

Best,

Background:
By filtering through the documents we've uncovered, I am attempting to reconstruct the events of the night of Eva's disappearance. There are still some gaps and discrepancies in the chronology. That's the main reason I am publishiong my findings here, to hopefully gain that one critical piece of evidence or insight. To help in our efforts I recomment you download the following guide in two parts.

The first component is a 2 page pdf file. One page contains my reconstruction of events, with map, times, known witnesses and other data. The other somewhat more cryptic page was created by Beth Foley, with further information and media.

The second component is an audio compilation of police interviews that I have edited into a chronological timeline. It is downloadable in an "album" format, with each track correlating to a location on the map. The PDF MAP and AUDIO FILES are meant to accompany each other, so that interested parties can utilize the existing evidence to explore the scene and help recreate the night how it actually occured.
